About the Antfarm
Set in a rural location, Antfarm studios offer a calm space to rehearse for an upcoming gig or write and record your next masterpiece. Both studios are detached buildings, so there is no noticable noise coming from your neighbours. Ample free parking space in front of the studios is provided. There is a lakeside Cafe and recreation area open during the day. The studio is just a few minutes drive from jct 26 of the M25. Public transport links are few, 10/15 minutes car/taxi ride from Loughton central line station or Epping station, 15/20 minutes from Waltham Cross overground station.

Rehearsal
£45.00 per 4 hour session
£80.00 per 8 hour session
Two detached rehearsal studios available. Rehearsal Studio 'A' is 6 meters by 4 meters equipped with Bose PA. Rehearsal Studio 'B' is 7 meters by 5 meters equipped with a Celestion PA, mic stands and mics.
Each rehearsal studio offers a selection of guitar/ bass amps and Drum shell-pack.
Rehearsal sessions are sold as 4 hour blocks
10am to 2pm
2pm to 6pm
7pm to 11pm
We can be flexible with rehearsal time slots depending on demand.
Recording/Mixing/Mastering
£250.00 per 8 hour session

Antfarm Rehearsal Recording Studios has two different sounding live areas. Recording Studio 'B' has a lively open sound, a room that likes to be driven hard. Recording Studio 'A' has a tight almost compressed sound that drummers love, along with an acoustically damped vocal booth and isolation room.
We have smooth sounding ribbon and condenser mics with great preamps to capture your sound.
Location Recording
Negotiable/Hour
We provide a location recording service specifically aimed at acoustic music production. The acoustic space contributes greatly to the sound produced by acoustic instruments. So, if you have a favourite acoustic space, ie a church, we can decamp to that church and record your music.
